Deepfake Porn Sites Feature Over 100 European Politicians, Mostly Women
An examination of 160 websites hosting sexually explicit deepfakes found that politicians from 22 European countries appear on them, and the overwhelming majority of those targeted are women. The findings highlight how non-consensual synthetic imagery is being used against public figures across the continent.
